Refunds & Returns

We strive to deliver you the best in quality and value. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your order, you may request a return or refund as outlined below:

Eligible Returns

  • Goods can be returned if they are in their original condition and packaging.
  • Goods that have been used, damaged, or altered are not eligible for a refund.

Change of Mind

  • Customers in the European Union have a legal right to a 14-calendar-day cooling-off period starting from the day the goods are received.
  • Goods must be returned unused and in their original packaging.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs when exercising the right to cancel during the cooling-off period.
  • For customers outside of the EU, we do not accept returns because you’ve changed your mind.

Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Goods

  • By law, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described at the time of purchase.
  • If your goods are faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us at sales@expresselectrical.co.uk immediately to arrange a refund, repair, or replacement.
  • You have 30 calendar days from the day you receive the goods to reject them and get a full refund if they don’t meet the stated standards. If you choose not to reject the goods, or the 30-day rejection period has passed, you can request a repair or replacement. We will cover the costs and complete the repair or replacement within a reasonable time without causing you inconvenience. If a repair or replacement isn’t possible or practical, we may offer you the other option or a full refund instead. If you ask for a repair or replacement during the 30-day rejection period, the countdown will pause until you receive the repaired or replacement goods. If fewer than 7 days remain in the original period, it will be extended to 7 days.

We will not accept a claim of Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Goods if:

  • We informed you about the fault, damage, or other issues with the goods before your purchase, and your return is based on that same issue.
  • You used the goods for a purpose that was unsuitable and not obvious or communicated to us, and the issue resulted from that use.
  • The problem is due to normal wear and tear, misuse, or intentional or careless damage.

Returns Process

  1. Contact us at sales@expresselectrical.co.uk to arrange the return.
  2. Returns must be initiated within 14 calendar days of notifying us of your decision to cancel or reject.
  3. We will bear the cost of return shipping for faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods.

Refund Timing and Payment

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 calendar days of receiving the goods back or receiving proof that the goods have been sent back, whichever is earlier.
  • Refunds include the original standard delivery charges (if applicable) but exclude premium delivery charges.
  • Refunds will be made using the original payment method.

Late or Missing Refunds

If your refund is delayed:

  1. Check with your bank or card issuer, as processing times vary.
  2. If issues persist, contact us at sales@expresselectrical.co.uk for assistance.

Delivery

Goods are typically delivered within 30 calendar days of order confirmation unless otherwise stated.

Cancellations & Amendments

Orders may be cancelled for any reason before you receive our Order Confirmation. Contact us immediately to request a cancellation. If incorrect or incomplete information is provided during the ordering process, please notify us as soon as possible. In cases where an order cannot be processed due to such information, we may reach out to request corrections. If the necessary details are not provided within a reasonable time, the order may need to be cancelled, and the contract treated as concluded. Any costs incurred as a result of providing incorrect or incomplete information may be passed on to you.
